Remember, remember the 5th of April.

A gaggle of lefties clogging the streets, waving signs for Ukraine, transgenderism, Hamas, and abortions galore, like a progressive bingo card gone rogue.

On the surface, it’s just another Saturday of incoherent outrage.

But what if it’s not?

What if those placards are props in a play we’ve seen before?

Mike Benz, the sharp-tongued head of the Foundation for Freedom Online (and a real gem of a follow) laid out what’s happening. This isn’t grassroots chaos. It’s the color revolution playbook, once a U.S. export to topple foreign tyrants, now flipped inward to kneecap our own government.

The empire’s old tricks might just be coming home to roost.

These Protests Smell Like a CIA Op

Back in the 1940s, when Uncle Sam traded tanks for psyops, the State Department and CIA perfected a little ditty called the color revolution.

Stir up mass protests, paint the government as a despotic relic, provoke a crackdown, and voilà: delegitimization served hot.

Benz calls it “the bottom-up way” of coup-making. Ditch the old-school general-bribing and instead rally the unions, the NGOs, the perpetually aggrieved. Anyone with a megaphone and a grudge.

Fast-forward to 2025, and here we are. Indivisible, a Soros-funded outfit drowning in Democrat cash, orchestrating street theater with all the subtlety of a Beijing propaganda reel. Ukraine flags next to Hamas chants. It’s not random, but astroturfed chaos, designed to make the government look like it’s lost the plot.

Don’t miss the irony.

The same crew that’s spent decades preaching “democracy” abroad now wants to sell us on “defending” it here.

Benz nails it: “They co-opt the language of our constitution… as if they’re on the side of decency.” This isn’t about ideals. It’s about power, and the first step is convincing enough suckers the system is rotten.

Who’s Pulling the Strings?

So, who’s the puppet master?

Benz points fingers at a rogues’ gallery: Soros, the State Department, NATO cheerleaders, and a cadre of ex-ambassadors like Norm Eisen and Michael McFaul.

These aren’t randos. They’re pros at toppling governments. McFaul even wrote the playbook. Eisen’s out there lawfaring Trump into oblivion (turns out he’s close with the Chief Justice too), while Soros bankrolls the chaos like he’s auditioning for best Bond villain.

The goal isn’t just domestic, it’s global.

NATO’s drooling over Russia’s $75 trillion in resources, a prize the CCP would kill to keep them from snagging. Benz says it plain: “They have a plan to seize Eurasia… Trump running on neutrality threw a monkey wrench in all of that.”

These protests screamed “hands off NATO.” Because NATO’s the muscle for this transatlantic heist, and Trump’s “America First” vibe threatens the whole racket.

Meanwhile, the CCP’s watching, grinning as we tie ourselves in knots. Afterall, that means less focus on their own thuggery in Xinjiang or the South China Sea.

If Benz is right, we’re not just fighting ourselves. We’re pawns in a chess game where Beijing ends up the real winner.

A Molotov Cocktail for Democracy

The mechanics are slick.

Step one: flood the streets with bodies.

Step two: scream “tyranny” until the media bites (shouldn’t be hard).

Step three: provoke a response, then cry foul when the cops show up.

Benz says it’s textbook: “You provoke a crackdown… making it easier for juries to convict, more pressurized for judges to rule in their favor.”

Remember the Supreme Court justices getting mobbed over Dobbs? That wasn’t spontaneous. It was a dry run.

Now they’re scaling it up, banking on judges buckling under the noise. McFaul bragged about this: riots sway courts, nullify elections, and bend the system. It’s not democracy. It’s blackmail.

Topple the government, but first, shred its legitimacy.

Benz calls it “a process that’s slow if the government starts off as being perceived as legitimate.” So, they chip away, wrapping their Molotov in the flag. “Defending democracy” from the big, orange autocrat.

If it works, we’re not a constitutional republic anymore. We become a CCP-style puppet show.

Screwed or Just Paranoid?

Protests that look like a leftist fever dream might be a page from the CIA’s old playbook, flipped to target us.

Soros and NATO’s cronies are allegedly pulling levers, aiming to delegitimize the government while keeping Russia’s riches in their crosshairs. The CCP chuckles from the sidelines.

Mobs, media, and a judiciary scared stiff. All to convince us the existing order is done.

Benz’s theory is wild, but the pieces (Indivisible’s cash, NATO’s obsession, the Supreme Court stunt) fit too snugly to dismiss outright.

If he’s right, we’re not just watching a tantrum, we’re in act one of our own overthrow.

Are we the next color revolution guinea pig, or just a nation of suckers too cynical to notice the real game?
